本書天線基礎(chǔ)理論部分從線、面基本輻射單元特性出發(fā),介紹由此組成的離散和連續(xù)陣的分析綜合。對天線的幾個主要參數(shù),系統(tǒng)給出了多種表示法及其相互聯(lián)系;極化的表示和傳輸線理論相對應(yīng);收發(fā)互易由計算接收天線的方向圖引入。同時也介紹了數(shù)字波束形成和智能天線等近代進(jìn)展。優(yōu)化設(shè)計部分著重介紹商用軟件的有效使用,其中包括空域映射、內(nèi)插和外推、自適應(yīng)采樣等技術(shù)。微帶天線部分力求與天線基本理論緊密結(jié)合并形成系統(tǒng),其中包括規(guī)則和非規(guī)則貼片的設(shè)計、方向圖計算、陣列設(shè)計和有限陣陣中互耦分析、陣列近場診斷。結(jié)合介紹高頻方法介紹了微帶反射陣、Fresnel區(qū)板天線和有限尺寸對方向圖的影響。分析方法涉及腔模和全波。在全波分析部分深入淺出介紹了譜域方法的精髓。
